Thursday Thunks: Special Talents

 Thursday Thunks! Say a little prayer for Kimber. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery.

1. Do you have any special talents? Tell us about them. Well Bud, my special talents are maintaining my temper no matter what is going on. I also can roll my tongue into a small straw and suck up milk.  I wonder which is my parents could roll their tongue. Supposedly it is genetic.

2. What is your favorite sound? The sounds of silence. Not really, I love the sounds of my children when they speak to each other in very polite ways, this happens as a full moon and it is great when I hear it.

3. What was your favorite TV show as a child or teen? Umm...lets see...I was a big Dukes of Hazard fan. I was sure I was going to marry Bo Duke or at least, party with him in the back seat of the General Lee. It never happened. Wahhh..

4. There are a lot of specialty TV networks now devoted to things like golf, gardening, shopping, game shows, sports, news and sci-fi. Do you have any favorite TV networks? I don't watch a lot of TV but I did have a Food network phase. I watch the Sci Fi Channel and Discovery occasionally.

5. What is your guilty pleasure TV show? It was the Bachelorette for a while. I am so glad it is over. I hated myself for watching but got sucked in while in the hospital. Now my only MUST SEE is True Blood!

6. Berleen is on the top of a mountain. How on earth did she get there and what was she doing? She is testing something useful that has the potential to make her a hundred, million dollars.

7. Have you ever dreamt that you made love to someone you haven’t yet met?  Yes! All the time. Random lovers come and go. Lovers appear in your room each night And they whirl you across the floor But they always seem to fade away When your daddy taps on your door

8. Berleen decides to run away and join the circus. What could you imagine her performing under the big top? Something exciting and enticing that will have the big top a rocking and the cops a knocking. Oh I don't know.

9. What is your favorite sci-fi movie? Terminator 2 or The Fifth Element are my favorites.

10. What is your favorite reality show? I hate reality TV but in the past watched way too much Big Brother and the Bachelor.

11. Bud says he is on vacation. What do you think he is doing? Sitting pool side, drinking a bud and watching the girls walk by.

12. When shopping at the grocery store, do you always return your cart? Depends. I rid myself of a guilty conscience by saying, "if everyone returned their carts, the cart guy would be out of a job."

13. Do you take compliments well? I didn't used to. Now, I simply say thank you.
