Herman T's BBQ Sauce - Review and Giveaway (5 DAY GIVEAWAY ONLY)

Last Friday, I received a box containing Herman T's BBQ Sauce through a Family Review Network Blog Tour.

When I read that you had to make the sauce I must admit I thought, wait...an additional step to making dinner in my already busy life.

I got the chicken out and started the grill up.

In a saucepan you are to put
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of ketschup
and 1 tablespoon of mix.

I doubled everything because I was making a ton of chicken. My husband doesn't eat all day and when he gets home is usually very hungry.

Cook until boiling and it is ready to go...

We used the spicy instead of original.

Goddess came over to stand on her stool next to me. She was like, "ummm...mama..what smells so good?" I told her it was barbecue sauce. She asked to try it.

I gave her a small spoon and we dipped the tip. She loved it. For the next half hour we explained over and over again that she couldn't have a bowl of it. She could have it on her chicken but people usually don't eat a bowl of BBQ sauce. She insisted that it looked like a "yummy soup" and whined the whole time we ate dinner.

Beside the whining it was good. My husband on the other hand really loved it! He raved about it and said he only stopped eating when the sauce was licked clean from the plate.

  2. Do your kids like spicy foods or was that not really all that hot?
