What I Can Tell You: I didn't have a canker sore to put the patch on but I did place it mostly to see if it is comfortable and easy to use. It is easy, didn't give me any trouble. I would imagine that you would feel less pain since the patch would cover the sore allowing you to eat and drink without irritation.
