The Marriage Merger by Jennifer Probst

Photobucket

The is the second book that I have read in the Married to a Billionaire Series by Jennifer Probst which includes , The Marriage Bargain, The Marriage Trap and the The Marriage Mistake which I reviewed here.

Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She’s stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family’s corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary . . . until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.

Julietta’s been burned before—and trusting her brother-in-law’s friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

The 411 by Maria:

This book is about the last of Mama Conte's daughter's Julietta. Julietta is a workaholic and has taken on the top position of her families La Dolce Famiglia Bakery something that her father spent his life building. When Sawyer Wells approaches her on a merger between his hotels and her bakeries, her love life is turned upside down.

Both Sawyer and Julietta are workaholics but playboy Sawyer has other things on his mind besides a business relationship. Each has their own reasons for throwing themselves into their work and Sawyer's past keeps him from loving but their sexy story is definitely a good one.

I loved this book. It is a bit long but like the last Jennifer Probst book I read, each page adds to the story and I never felt the need to skim. My favorite character has to be Mama who will do anything for her family and others. She thinks and speaks from her heart and will move mountains for those she loves.

Definitely can stand on it's own or as part of the series. Go ahead and grab a copy. It is sexy and sooo worth the indulgence.

Disclaimer: No compensation was received for my honest opinion of this book!

  1. Is this a series you need to read in order or can the books be read randomly? Will one leaving you hanging to read another?

    1. They each can stand alone. I read this one but would have no problem picking up the first one which I never read and wouldn't be lost.
