So Exciting

I fell upon Create a Connection while reading one of my favorite blogs. I am so happy I did...thanks Holli.

I joined the Book Swap..and met Kristen when I was assigned her name and provided with the link to her blog.

I am so psyched and can't wait to get her package into the mail.

I am so looking forward to reading everyone's blogs.

Fun! Fun! I am so excited about this that I have asked a dear, dear friend if she wants to do a monthly swap with me. We were talking today about possible themes and then I figured I could come up with a few now...

1- Character Socks
4-Gag Gifts
5-Christmas ornaments
6-The makings of a drink (Martini's anybody?)

Are just a few possibilities...

  1. Hi Maria!

My name is Julie, I'll be posting a book your way this weekend.

I'm laughing because you and I have quite a bit in common... I'm also Italian American (my family is from Bagna de Luzca), I live in New York, I love thunderstorms, pina coladas, getting caught in the rain...

Lol, just kidding. I was reading your seven layers meme, and you seem really down to earth, and a lot of your answers echoed what I would say. Cool. So it's nice to meet you, and I'm actually SUPER DUPER impressed by your ability to maintain FOUR!!!! blogs at once. I barely manage to stay on top of mine, even though in my head I'm always writing. I also write fanfic though - yes, I'm a total geek like that, I embrace it, nerds rock! My current fangirl obsessions are Veronica Mars, Heroes, Big Love, Weeds, and always Mary Tyler Moore. And Buffy. And Third Rock from the Sun. Aaaaaaaaand I'm a pop culture junkie.

And I'll stop here because I can just go all night. Where shall I mail your book? I'm really excited about this swap, I'm trying not to OD when I send out your package, lol.

Drop a note and let me know your address and important bits. Nice to meet you!

Oh wow - you got Kristen. How fun!!! That's who we stayed with when we went to New York!!! I love her and her entire family. You can bet she will read what you send her.

I'm glad you created a connection!!!

  3. ooohhhhh...and maybe:

    - coffee/tea package
    - decadent food item (yummy)
    - 'health/beauty' item (ya know for that stuff you see at the store, but won't buy because it's $8 for a bottle the size of your pinky nail)
    - MP3 player month
    - tennis bracelet month
    - am I getting carried away here???

  4. I love those ideas.
Dang but you left off a car a dream vacation, and switch kid weekend..girl if you want to dream, make it BIG!

  5. Will the USPS ship kids????
