Bunny Business (Mama's Day at Work) by Lori Richmond

Mama is taking Bunny to work today, and Bunny couldn't be more excited! But when the office isn't all it's cracked up to be, Bunny has to get creative to save the office from boredom. It's morning when Mama gets the call that the bunnysitter is sick. But Papa is out of town and school is out. That means Bunny gets to go to work at Mama's office! But the big city isn't all it's cracked up to be, even with its many distractions. Boredom and hunger strike, and Bunny has to take up the mantle to save Mama's office from the workday blues.

The 411:

This is an adorable book about a young bunny who has to go to work with mama bunny when his babysitter gets sick. The big city can be exciting but there is no time to look around because mama is busy and has lots of work and meetings to get to. When bunny gets too hungry a genius plan gets him exactly what he needs.

A very cute story for little ones who think their parents leave them every day to head out and have fun.

My class loved watching baby bunny work through his problem. We are working on emotions and his little face was perfect to read.

My toddler class hopes to read many more Lori Richmond books.
