As someone who has family serving this is a campaign that is near and dear to me. My nephew just came back from Afghanistan and his mother, my sister was able to spend 3 days with him before he shipped out again. She told my father that she sent away a boy and got back a man. Crazy to imagine what he saw or went through at such a young age.
So many families are waiting for people to come home and if you are like me, those military reunion videos make you cry.
For many service men and women the day they return home is the happiest day of their lives! For many men and women it’s the beginning of a new struggle, the struggle to put their families back together again, and it’s not easy. Military divorces have increased 42% since 2001, and that number is sure to increase with the number of service men and women returning home from Afghanistan.

My recipe for a happy marriage is a healthy bedroom life. For us,no problem can't be solved after or sometimes during a little marital "bliss"...multiple times a week.

Your spouse appreciates quality time together in a romantic spot. One of the ways they receive love is when you clear the schedule and make time for the little things that often get lost in the busyness of life. They love it when you affirm them with your words, so go the extra mile and tell them of how much they mean to you.

I think you have to keep the lines of communication open as much as possible. And, be honest.

It's the little things that count. Leave notes, buy little silly gifts, and say nice things to eachother. When you feel good, you don't look for other people to make you feel good.
