I must have read Guess How Much I Love You 500 times to my kids and now I am reading to my preschool class. It never gets old but I was thrilled to get this new book by Sam McBratney.

Our old friend Little Nutbrown Hare goes outside to play. He only has his shadow to play with until a little bunny named Tipps shows up. Together they play and play becoming fast friends. When Tipps doesn’t come find Little Nutbrown Hare he heads home. Eventually Tipps shows up by Nutbrown Hare’s house and informs mom they are friends. 

I love the illustrations which are reminiscent of Guess How Much I Love You the beautiful watercolors look by Anita Jeram are heartwarming. 

Our Little Nutbrown Hare is growing up and exploring independence from momma bunny which is what we want for our children.
