"An intense ride only Liam Neeson could deliver" -ABC-TV

Michael's (Liam Neeson) daily commute home quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger (Vera Farmiga), Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes, for himself and his fellow passengers.

From Jaume Collet-Serra, the director of Non-Stop and The Shallows, and written for the screen by Byron Willinger, Philip de Blasi, and Ryan Engle, The Commuter's home entertainment release includes two never-before-seen featurettes that focus on the cast's experience shooting the film and the technical details of shooting on a train. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions will also feature Dolby Atmos audio remixed specifically for the home-theater environment, to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead.

The 411:

We thought it would be another Taken. We loved Taken! Well, it is Liam Neeson so of course it is amazing and full of action.

Liam plays Michael an Insurance Salesman who just lost his job and is heading home on the same train he has taken every day for 10 years. This particular day a blonde mystery woman sits down and tells him that she will give him $100,000 if he finds the right person based on their nickname and destination and plants a tracking device on their bag. She also tells him that if he fails, tells someone or refuses she will have his wife and son killed.   He doesn't want any part of it but her continued phone calls tell him she is not bluffing.

The movie is full of action even though the entire thing takes place on a train and while I know Neeson doesn't voice Optimum Prime it is all I think about when he speaks (Sorry Peter Cullen). It has a great "real time" feel and we loved that!!
