BEST CELL/HOME PHONE SYSTEM I HAVE EVER OWNED BY FAR.....

As part of the She Speaks Campaign for VTech, I was given a complimentary Connect to Cell to review last month and really took my time trying out all the features before talking about it.

From the VTech Site: Missed calls thanks to a misplaced cell phone at home? Not anymore with a Connect to Cell system from VTech. By leveraging Bluetooth® wireless-enabled technology, Connect to Cell makes it possible to place and receive cellular calls through a home phone system. Plus, by downloading your cellular phonebook directly onto the handsets, you'll have quick access to all your contacts from any room.

BUT...it is so much more than this little blurb.  VTech has made the best phone. As far as I am concerned, I see no reason to ever get another home phone because the VTech Connect To Cell does everything I need it to do and so much more.

Here is my video review:

Some of the best features of this phone:

  • Receives home and cell phone calls
  • Easy Blue Tooth hook up
  • Download your contacts (I have been unable to figure this feature out yet, but I will)
  • You can do away with your land line phone if you prefer and just use this for your cell calls without the dropped call or the "can you hear me now" speech.
  • Walkie Talkie feature from room to room, floor to floor without having to shout.
  • Hands free with wireless head set.
  • Share your ringtone with your home phone
  • Can pair up to two cell phones
  • Digital answering machine with up to 14 minutes of recording time
I haven't had a better phone system. It is the best for our house BY FAR! Disclaimer: I received a complimentary product for my honest opinion as part of the She Speaks campaign program for VTech.

  3. We own Vtech home phones and love it. But I had no idea that technology like this even existed! My son will be getting a new place in the next couple of months and this phone system would be really great for him! Wish I could get them for me too!

  8. Wow, who knew that home phones have come so far? We all tend to get wrapped up in all the newest and greatest features of our cell phones and not think about upgrading the home phones too! I love that this combines cell phone and landline technologies and makes them available for everyone!

  9. We've had the same Vtech phone for years. This sounds like a great upgrade. Love that it has 14 minutes of recording time. So many of the messages left on the machine get cut off.

  16. It has been a really long time since we had a home phone/land line. The V Tech phones are really cool looking! I might buy those for my son at college-I don't think the apartment provides them with a phone. Thanks for the review!

  17. Interesting how you can use these phones in conjunction with your cell. I have 5 vetch phones (they came in a bundle pack and were very inexpensive) and they have held up through two moves and around 7 years of service!

  20. Vtech phones have some of the best phones out there available. These phones come in multi-cordless phones with a base. They were for some of the longest ranges that I've dealt with. I love that a lot of their phones come with call forwarding so you can send the calls to your cell phone or vice versa when away and this prevents you from missing an important phone. The only home phones I buy are Vtech.

  26. I would have really enjoyed that phone 10 years ago but haven't needed one in forever. It's mostly because I only have a few land line options where I live and the service is terrible. But that Vtech kind of makes me miss it.

  38. This sounds great! We are not very happy with our current phone service and devices. I am on call all of the time as a substitute teacher and often miss opportunities to come work because of it. This would solve a lot of our problems!
