The 911 by Maria:

What a great book. We used to have tortillas in the house all the time because they were easy and we used them in so many recipes. We would bake them as chips and use them instead of chips. We made many breakfast roll ups and used them as hot dog rolls. But never would I have imagined half of the recipes included in this book like:

Churros!
Are you kidding me. Where has this book been my whole life. So easy and I cannot wait to try them!

Blitzes!
Never would I have thought of this but what a great idea for a quick dessert when you just need something sweet.

Mexican Chocolate Pudding in Tortilla cups!
Holy Moly! I am in heaven and can't wait to print out my shopping list which will include tortilla and Abuelita Hot Chocolate Mix.

Mexican Lasagna!
These are dinners that even college students or first timers can do with ease. I remember when I first moved out at 16 these would have been the perfect recipes. Much better than Steak Ems and Chef Bordardee every night.

Speaking of Steak Ems. They taste amazing on a tortilla.

Great book with 100 easy to follow recipes. Send it to your college student and know they are eating better!

My husband and I use Tortilla for just about everything but I don't think we have ever had Tortilla Crusted French Toast. I'm going to have to try that sometime :)

What a great cookbook! Another use for tortillas (probably in the book) is for the dumplings in Chicken and Dumplings. My grandmother used to spend so much time making homemade dumplings and tortillas taste almost exactly the same.
