There is nothing like the red of the carnival. My husband took this picture of the kids and I on the carousel. Not sure what I was saying to make my lips so tight. Probably just getting bored! The rides seemed to last so damn long.
Afterwards we took the kids to the local ice cream shop. These flowers caught my eye for this weeks Ruby Tuesday.
I so loved the carousel as a child - this brings back many memories. I bet the ride that may have seemed long to you wasn't nearly as long for the children. :)

Boring for whom? We parents have to feign excitement in much of what we do with our kids. But the excitement our children sense is the payoff. If they liked it, we are happy that they like it...
