I was in dire need of a speaker for work. I work in daycare and love putting music on for my class for play and at nap time but I also needed something that was toddler proof. The Altec Lansing Mini LifeJacket Jolt Speaker is not only childproof but snow, dirt and water proofed too!
The speaker is easily powered by USB charge (cord included) and lasts for 16 hours. I can go for little more than a week on one charge.
It has a 100 foot wireless range that works great in my school. I can take the speaker to the gym, recess without taking my phone (we are not allowed to have our phone on us at work).
