5 Essential Items To Take On Your Next Trip To The Beach

Are you planning to spend the next vacation at the beach but still not sure of what important things you should bring? If your answer is yes, then this article is for you! And even if you already have a long checklist of the things to bring, it would still be very helpful to read on.

It is so disappointing to suddenly realize that you left something back at the house in the middle of the trip. Not only does it waste our time that we should be enjoying at the beach but it can also result in unexpected expenses too.

Whether you are going on a trip with your family or a group of friends, you should always make sure to bring these 5 essential items on your next trip to the beach. Of course, do not forget your usual summer wear, personal hygiene items, and loads of snacks and refreshments too. Sit back, relax, and make the most of your vacation at the beach!

1. Cooler

Doing a variety of exciting activities at the beach takes up a lot of our energy. Remember to load up your icebox or cooler with a lot of snacks and drinks especially if you are bringing your kids with you. Aside from drinking water and refreshments, you could also bring some healthy fruit snacks such as sliced apples, oranges, and bananas to help you cool off during the summer. Also, do not forget to bring extra bags of ice for the whole day.

2. Sunscreen

Sunscreen lotions efficiently block most of the harmful UV rays from the sun, giving you less worries from stinging rashes and serious skin problems. Generally, sunblock lotion with SPF (Sun Protection Factor) 30 is already excellent for the use of most beachgoers. You may also try hairsprays and lip balms with UV blockers for added protection. Nonetheless, avoiding prolonged exposure under the sun is still the best thing do.

3. Inflatable Air Lounger

These inflatables weigh just a little over a kilogram and can easily fit inside your bag. Inflatable air lounger can be filled with air in an instant, unlike conventional airbeds which require time and energy-consuming pumps. Bringing an air lounge eliminates the need for chairs, mats, and floating mattresses that are often too bulky and difficult to assemble.

4. Flip Flops

Flip flops are probably one of the common things people forget to bring on their vacation to the beach. This lightweight footwear can save you from the scorching heat of the sand when walking barefoot. Flip flops are also better than shoes and sandals as they do not accumulate as much sand and can easily be washed clean. They also come in fashionable designs that you can match with your swimwear.

5. Umbrella

Even with the use of sunscreen lotion, continuous exposure to the radiation coming directly from the sun and heat reflecting off the sand is not good for your body. You may bring a wide beach umbrella or a sizeable tent for shade. Outside the tent or umbrella, you may wear a wide-brimmed hat or simply cover with a towel to minimize exposure under the sun.
