I am in love with this book. I love the chalk board style pages. Each one would make a lovely framed piece once you finish coloring them. The pages are heavy and tear out easily.
Coloring has once again become one of my favorite things to do in my downtime.
The back of each page also has a place to write a note, feeling or whatever under a quote selected for the page. For instance a page with three jars containing wildflowers and the saying "Just Picked for You" has a saying on the backside of the page that reads,
"In a field of roses be a wild flower."
This would make a lovely gift for you or a friend. Coloring is a wonderful way to pass the time or just just de-stress. I remember being in the hospital for 2 weeks and how the days just dragged. A coloring book with gel pens, markers, or colored pencils would have made all the difference.

About the Book: Hand Lettering A to Z is a fun, hands-on book in which artist and calligrapher Abbey Sy presents her creative lettering and invites artists from several countries to contribute alphabets of their own--all unique, all hand drawn. Each alphabet is paired with a collection of phrases to show readers different ways to use the lettering and have fun with it in different languages, including French, Spanish, Irish, Swedish, Portuguese, and more. Readers can use the phrases when making cards, gifts, or embellishing their journals. And unlike calligraphy, hand lettering does not require disciplined study. Hand-drawn lettering is meant to be personal and original, so even beginners can dive in!

If you are crafty you will love this book. The tutorials are easy to follow and gives great tips on how to create perfect stylized fonts for letter writing, signage, posters and more.  Great resource! My daughter has pulled it out from the book shelf three times today to learn how to do some fun lettering for a thank you card and a book report. Makes me want to write a few thinking of you cards out myself.

Stick it to 'Em is your invitation to play as you create customized stickers with sass! With just a hint of silly irreverence, this guide includes a list of colorful art tools in addition to easy drawing and lettering techniques and step-by-step tutorials, all designed to get your cheeky creativity flowing. You'll then be treated to more than 35 pages of stickers, including a selection of fully designed styles to use any way you like, a variety of stickers to color in, and blank stickers to create your own. Filled with tons of puns, wit, and wisecracks, Stick it to 'Em is your answer to getting through each day with humor and fun.

Probably one of my favorite coloring books ever. I loved coloring the stickers which are on thick paper and on easy to peel paper. I was coloring these at lunch at work when I got back to my classroom my students begged me for some of the cupcake stickers to put on their sheets. So cute. I loved that I could use my sparkly gel pens and create really pretty pieces that my kids were in love with.

The book also has tons of already colored stickers. Perfect for a birthday gift or just because. The stickers are adult as some mention alcohol.  There are even a few pages where you can write your own words! LOVE everything about this book!

The pages are so pretty and not too overwhelming. The designs are beautiful and detailed without making you feel that it will take a whole day to complete a Mandala. What I have found when I paint Mandalas is that I sometimes get bored with using the same colors over and over again. I love that the illustrations contained so much yet are simplistic in nature. The book contains color wheels and detailed information on how to find colors that compliment each other. I also love the colored pages that aid in showing you a completed Mandala. Follow them or don't but they are there if you want outside inspiration.

This full-color art journal for moms and kids to color and draw together in is designed to be a sharing experience. Mom and child can write each other letters, draw what scares them, imagine what they want to be when they are grown up, color a scene using only one favorite color, whatever their imaginations lead them to!

Mom and Me: An Art Journal to Share is filled with fun hand-lettering and artwork from Bethany Robertson along with creative prompts from licensed art therapist Lacy Mucklow. Mucklow offers up the best ways to communicate with a child through creating together; how to start an open conversation with your child; questions you can ask that will help generate thoughtful responses; and how to tailor the quality time so it's still fun and engaging for your child.

This is a great book for Mom's and their child. I want to do this with my daughter but at 12 she is thinking it is too hard. Everything is hard when you are 12. UGH...it will be great when we can finally do this together. Each two page layout has two sides. One for you and one for your child. I imagine us sitting side by side and completing the pages as we chat and laugh. Hopefully this wish will be a reality.

All of these are great book for everyone who loves to color.  I work in a Daycare and during nap time many of us are doing these books while we wait for the kids to wake. I have brought in a slew of coloring pencils, gel pens and markers and that is really all you need.

You are never to old to color!
