Ever since we got a guinea pig we have at least one additional load a week and that depends on how many times the kids put her in her playpen a day. We use old towels and pillow cases for her. Stains from urine and feces is to be expected but I need to make sure it doesn't go through to my carpeting so that means doubling it up. We have used Purex with Clorox 2 for the past two weeks and I can say it has definitely made a difference. These no longer look like old sheets and pillow cases I am using. They look like they should be on my bed. This is by no means just for pets. I used it on my son's gym socks too. They are forever full of mud and grass stains. If I had to give you one reason why you need to try Purex with Clorox 2 I would tell you use this on your kids gym clothes. The grass stains are non-existent when they come out of the laundry!
It is safe for colors because there is no bleach in it so go ahead and wash those Football Team Shorts and Socks! The stains will come out and you will lose none of the colors. Therefore, no pouty pre-teen. Hooray! One for mom. Zero for stains!
