Experience a quixotic new nightmare when writer/director Stephen Rutterford’s horror-mystery Finding Ophelia premieres on digital this June.

 New York Advertising Executive William Edgar (Jimmy Levar) is mesmerized by a series of hypnotic dreams that blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

His life is thrown into disarray when forced to choose between his career, his relationships and his romantic obsession with a mysterious woman.(Christina Chu)

Doing whatever it takes to find her, leads down a bizarre, dark path of signs and wonders, William soon discovers that finding the girl of your dreams can be a nightmare.

The 411:

This is a movie I might have shut off quickly if not a review. In front of a stellar soundtrack Finding Ophelia is a different kind of wonderful. It didn't feel like a horror movie but by the end it totally is!  The imagery was an acid trip as our main character walks through the city, in a constant apparent daze or drug induced haze. 

William seems disconnected from everything except a trippy vision that he keeps dreaming about. Is it a dream? A Memory? ,Someone trying to connect with him on another level? We don't know but there was a moment when I thought perhaps he was a murdered who was remembering something he had blocked. NOPE! That wasn't it but the ending was even better than I had thought.
