“Sharknado's” Ian Ziering on Original 90210 Reunion (Larry King Now)

Season six of the multi-Emmy nominated series Larry King Now” just premiered and “Sharknado” stars Tara Reid & Ian Ziering sat down with Larry King to preview the next installment of the hit SyFy movie franchise “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,” detail why the "absurd" films have scored such a devoted following, and dish on their future film and television projects. Plus, Tara Reid & Ian Ziering dish on dream co-stars, funny fan encounters, and hilariously convince Larry to join the cast of the cult hit should a sixth installment be made. The King then takes their proposal to the next level, deciding he'll play "the Jew with glasses" in the potential 2018 version.

Actor Ian Ziering, who is currently starring in “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,” opens up about the possibility of the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” cast joining forces once again in a reunion show. “Absolutely. We’re all still really good friends. When you work with someone for so long, 10 years, at such an early age you become like brothers and sisters. They are all doing great, I am real happy for their achievements and I’d love to work with them again in front of the camera. It would be awesome.” But when Larry asked Ian about having regrets over not taking part in the 90210 reboot, Ian explained, “When they approached me, they didn’t have a good story line. If I was going to resurrect Steve Sanders I wanted it to have some connection with what I had built in the 10 years I was associated with the show. They were not interested in connecting what was with what they had and for that, I wasn't interested aggrandizing their project. It just wasn't something that was that appealing.”
