4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks? Color coming back into the world. Bring it Mother Nature.

5. What’s the last movie you saw? The Fantastic Mr. Fox. My review is coming on Monday.

11. What were you doing at 12am last night?  Getting my groove on.

12. Are your parents married/separated/divorced? They were married when Mom died but I don't believe they would still be married if she were alive today. Dad has been living with a man for the past 30 years.

21. Where do you think you’ll be in 10 years? Here, alive hopefully. A lot can happen in 10 years.

22. Do you tan or burn? I stay out of the sun. I used to burn but it has been over 15 years since my last burn. Working for a dermatologist will do that to you.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? Everything. The thing under the bed, the thing in the closet, the thing in the shower, the thing in the basement, the witch from Hansel and Gretel mostly. I still have to force myself not to run out of dark rooms into the light. I'm a big pussy and not afraid to admit it.

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh?  My son took a crazy fall off a swing today, head over tea kettle and it made me laugh but only because I didn't see it until the end. If I had seen his face hit the snow and leave a horrible red mark that is still there 5 hours later I would never have laughed.

  1. We have many things in common. Your #1 is exactly how I feel about my age in five years (48 for me).

It's been a long long time since I've seen my mom, too. I'm sorry about yours, though. Losing your mom so young must have been so difficult.

    Happy Valentine's Day!

  2. Stopping by from Sunday Stealing!

I loved reading your answers and your blog layout is beautiful!

  3. You do NOT look 44!!!

    You look 30, maybe.

  4. A Girl Named Me - Seriously, time flies. Thank you! It was and is difficult.

Adie, Thanks for stopping by and the compliments.

Freda, Hahahah..yeah you should see the bags and wrinkles. Sometimes I totally look my age but thanks so much! Coming from a young one that is a compliment.

  5. Long live sweat pants!

    Have a great day!

    Join us for Monday Mayhem

  6. We are the same age and when I think about in 5 years we will be almost fffiiifffftttyyyy, it SO scares me!
It's funny how I really don't have anyone that I talk to on the phone every day... I usually text and now Twitter people every day.
Loved your answer to #11 - you go girl you sexy mama!!
I didn't think you would talk about your dad like you did, I'm so proud of you. Love conquers all!
How sweet that you picked to go see your dad out of all the places you could go - I'd have said Hawaii.
I hate crowds too... I could NEVER go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
I used to burn in the sun when I was young, but now I stay out of it also. Sunscreen every day is a must!

I love comments. Please feel free to leave a comment. I would love to talk to you further
