The 3rd Annual Neighborhood Toy Store Is TOMORROW

Can you believe Christmas is only 45 days away????!!!

I am shocked and so not ready. There is still so much to do and usually I am much more ahead in my shopping by now but tomorrow, I plan on heading out and hitting the local toy stores within a 25 mile radius, there are 3 of them and seeing what I can find.

To find out which stores are participating in Neighborhood Toy Store Day head over to ASTRA's (the American Specialty Toy Retail Association) new website, . It is super easy to get started and takes 1 few seconds, just enter your zip code and see who is listed.

Next week I am going to head out to three really local neighborhood toy stores and tell them to get themselves listed for next year. It is a win-win for the store and the community.

Many of us are shopping more local due to escalating gas prices and limited availability so if you are like me and way behind on your holiday shopping, do yourself and Santa a favor and shop now.

  1. Will have to check our local "The Chalkboard" store to see if any specials they may have.. it is our favorite place to go, when we need a gift. The kids like playing with all the toys that are on display, we can actually see what each toy looks like outside of the packaging.. it is also a favorite for teachers to shop for visual aids and toys they need for their classrooms... I love browsing all the selections they have, you can spend a afternoon inside and the kids don't get bored!

I love comments. Please feel free to leave a comment. I would love to talk to you further
