Easter Book Ideas For Kids #scholastic #easterbooks

I love gifting books. They last longer than toys or candy and I believe reading to your kids is one of the best things you can do with them. I was really happy to find these adorable books for Easter and cannot wait to read them to my pre-school class. They are 2-3 years old and do not remember their first Easter so getting them excited for this year is going to be a blast.

My class loves Peppa Pig so the first book is Peppa's Easter Egg Hunt.

It's springtime, and Grandpa Pig has set up an Easter egg hunt for Peppa Pig and her friends! Join Peppa, Rebecca Rabbit, and Freddy Fox as they search for delicious chocolate eggs and even see baby chicks hatching in the yard!

The 411:

This is perfect for kids who are doing their first Easter Egg Hunt and don't know what to expect. Grandpa sends the kids into the garden and everyone except Richard finds an egg. Don't worry though because Grandpa has a special way to make sure everyone has one. After enjoying their chocolate eggs Grandpa has another surprise for the kids. The chicken eggs are about to hatch and Peppa and friends get to watch.

Kids who love Peppa Pig or even those who have never seen Peppa Pig will love the adorable, colorful pics, sweet story and the stickers in the back of the book.

The Missing Easter Bunny starring the Pikmi Pops Surprise

Each year, Ebby the Bunny plans an Easter celebration for all the Pikmis in Pikmi Land. But where is Ebby this year? Join the Pikmis as they search for Ebby and hunt for Easter eggs in this sweet story with a surprising, hoppy ending!

The 411:

I have never heard of the Pikmi Pops but after looking them up, I am in love with their adorableness.
This book is also about an Easter Egg hunt that the Pikmis friend Ebby has set up. The friends are sent on an Easter Egg Hunt and with each egg they find a clue inside leading them to their next destination. Together they put the pieces together and find a large chocolate egg with a friendly "sur-prize" inside.

Kids will adore these colorful to the max pages of sweet characters. AND they will be so excited about the sweet smelling stickers in the back. I am smelling them now as I write this review and want them for myself.

If your kids love Beanie Boos and you plan on giving them one this Easter, An Egg-stra Special Easter is the perfect accompaniment.

Happy Easter from the Beanie Boos! These furry friends are excited for their annual sp-egg-tacular Easter egg hunt! Blossom the lamb can't wait to get started — this is her first ever egg hunt. She searches the vegetable patch, the garden, and the meadow. Which Beanie Boo friends will she meet along the way? Will she ever find an egg? What surprise will be inside?

Kids can join in the fun hunting for eggs along with their favorite Beanie Boos in this all-new, original story. Includes exclusive Beanie Boos Easter egg stands!

The 411:

My kids always loved Beanie Boos and have tons of them. I love the cover which features the "real" Beanie Boos. Inside there are illustrations of some of their favorite Beanie Boos going on an egg hunt set up by Carrot. Blossom is having no luck and even gives up an egg for a friend when one is finally found so their friend is not upset. In the end Blossoms egg ends up being the biggest surprise out of all the eggs and everyone including their new friend "Goldie" is very happy.

Beanie Boos and their big eyes are hard to deny. I cannot stop into a store and pass them up if I see a new one. Kids and adults will love this book featuring all the Easter favorites and adorable egg stands featuring the stares of the books on the last page for your colored eggs.

Last but not least Peep Peep I Love You! by Sandra Magsamen is a cute pop up book where kids can peek under large tabs for little hands to see the baby animal accompanying mommy on the page.

Readers will meet all the mommy and baby animals on the farm in this adorable board book, featuring five sturdy lift-the-flaps and a puffy cloth shape on the cover. Parents can teach their little ones each animal sound as they read out loud.

This adorable addition to the "Made with Love" series reminds little ones how much they are cherished through Sandra Magsamen's signature heartfelt text and cozy hand-stitched illustration style.

Kids can also learn sounds and touch the puffy cover. The illustrations are really cute too!
