The 411 by Maria:

I love the layout of this book. It is exactly what boy need. I have seen so many girl books but not many for boys on subjects like not becoming the "stinky kid". Which talks about hormones and body changes. How you now have adult like glands and will sweat like an adult.

There are sections on:

Worrying about weight which is think is just as important as talking to girls.
Morning Surprises which explains something called a wet dream which shows a boy talking all his sheets to the washing machine.
Brushing your teeth
Growth spurts
Curfews
Rules
Chores
Personal safety
and more

I could go on and on about how great this book is. It is perfect to give to the young man in your life or if you are brave, read it with him. We will be starting this soon TOGETHER.

It is a great gift to appear on a young man's dresser or desk one day when they walk in the door from school. They may feel weird but curiously will get to them and they will read it.
