A Crafting For Kids Must Have

In Crafting Fun for Kids of All Ages, blogger Kim Uliana offers 200 entertaining, versatile, and easy-to-assemble arts and crafts projects for any occasion. Make glittery snowflakes and thumbprint ornaments during the holidays, create straw hats and button sunflowers for summer vacation, or decorate personalized bookmarks for back-to-school.

Kim guides readers through each project, giving step-by-step instructions even the youngest crafter will be able to follow. Projects are organized by materials to provide easy searching and shopping for children and adults.

Learn how to turn everyday crafting materials into pieces of art with Crafting Fun for Kids of All Ages. Pipe cleaners will become dream catchers and tiaras; buttons will turn into necklaces and wind chimes; tissue paper will transform into princess hats and fire-breathing dragons. Activities include:

Crafting with clay
Painting processes and ideas
Fun with pipe cleaners
Creative construction paper
Buttons
And a whole lot more!

The 411:

This is the perfect craft book for home or school. The simple step by step instructions are those as young as 3 or 4 with assistance.

The book is broken up in sections with 200 crafts using buttons, Popsicle sticks, paper plates, pipe cleaners, cup cake liners, pom poms, glitter and more. We love the ideas and can't wait to get many of them done. We only had pom poms in the house so we used that but many homes will have much of the supplies necessary. We need to make a run to Walmart and pick up some things.

I work in daycare with ages 2-3 and I cannot wait to do an Easter craft with them from the book. With supervision many of these projects will be perfect to do with my group of preschoolers.   They LOVE "art" projects and many of these are great for fine tuning their fine motor skills.

My daughter was inspired to get off her computer and craft since getting the book.  She saw some pine cones at school and brought them home for a pom pom craft. I was impressed with her hot glue gun skills. Aren't they cute?

I watched her and created my own pom pom, Cyclops, Santa snowman magnet for the fridge.

So cute!

I am looking forward to showing off more of the fun crafts we do from this book.
