Madeline's Great Adventures on DVD Will Have Your Child Speaking French

Ok, well not literally but after one view my Goddess was saying, "Oui Mademoiselle" "Au revoir", "Merci" and "BonJour".

I received a DVD copy of Madeline's Great Adventures which hit the store shelves, June 29, 2010.

As a kid, I loved Madeline. What was it, seeing the all the little girls in a row, in their row of beds, the way the spoke, the Dr. Seuss type of narrating? What ever it was, I loved it!

We have one Madeline DVD and a felt toy set which my Daughter has played with since she was 2 years old.

Walking into her bedroom with the DVD in hand, I asked her if she wanted to watch Madeline's Great Adventures with me. She was playing with her Littlest Pet Shop "Co-weck-shion" and said, "no". Telling her "I do!" I sat on her bed and pressed play. Within 3 minutes she was sitting next to me as we watched all 6 episodes. After watching, I walked off to make dinner, she pressed play again and watched it for the second time. Since then she watches it every night and once again plays with the felt toy set that we put away so long ago.

If you are not familiar with Madeline, you really need to check it out. Inspired by the beloved classic books that introduced us to a dozen delightful girls who live in an old house in Paris covered with vines and attend Miss Clavel's Parisian school.

Madeline’s Great Adventures is full of spirited fun. This collection of five of the most-entertaining episodes from Madeline’s much-loved animated TV series is sure to win your heart and provide hours of entertainment.
