Shrek The Musical Knows Art and Music Programs Must Stay In Schools #dreamworks

Last week DreamWorks Animation and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in partnership with National Association for Music Education (NAfME) donated five $10,000 grants to help save music and arts programs in schools across the country.  In celebration of the Shrek The Musical, now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD, DreamWorks Animation and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment invited one of the winning schools, Baldwin Hills Elementary, to a surprise check presentation at Sweet! Hollywood. To commemorate the occasion, Sweet! was transformed into Shrek's beloved swamp where students and staff enjoyed a scavenger hunt, custom green goodies, and more!

  1. It's wonderful that such major players in the Arts and Entertainment world are making contributions to save these programs and very kind of them to provided a day full of fun and goodies to kids. I bet the children loved it :)

Its good to know that DreamWorks Animation and Twentieth Century Fox are so supportive of the arts and music. When school budgets are cut it seems these programs suffer greatly.
