Monday Morning Meme

Monday Morning MeMe.

January 5th Questions:
1. What was the last thing you laughed at? Would you say you have a great sense of humor? What sorts of things make you laugh in general? Would you say people “get” your humor? That would be my daughter. She cracks me up. She is 3.5 years old but has a wonderful sense of humor. It will be interesting to see how this progresses as she gets older. Just real quick wit, funny, obvious humor. Nope! They laugh when I am trying not to be funny and don't when I am. Go figure.

2. How many pieces of jewelry are you wearing at this very moment? Do you wear jewelry every day, or only on special occasions? What is your favorite piece of jewelry? Tell us the story behind one piece of your jewelry. I am wearing my wedding and engagement ring. I am also wearing a Twilight necklace I got from Etsy and my nose ring. I used to wear a lot of jewelry. Loads of bracelets, toe rings, ankle bracelets and more, after having kids I ditched the earrings because I was afraid of them being pulled. Now I wear them for special occasions only. My favorite piece is my engagement ring. I love that is is classic and simple. My nose ring was a gift to myself on my 42nd birthday. My husband had joked that if I were to die he would tell the funeral home to pierce my nose because I had always wanted one when I was alive. The next week was my birthday so I took my kids (they are my strength) and headed to the local tattoo joint.

3. If you could offer one piece of etiquette advice that everyone should follow when dining out, what would it be? Use your manners. You know, the ones your mama taught or should have taught you when you were little. Say please, thank you, excuse me and don't use your fingers unless the food is an obvious finger food. Even then, try to eat it with some sort of utensil.
4. What are the first three things a guest would notice when they walked through your front door? That my kids have toys! That we now have a fireplace (it used to be hidden behind our couch), and that we have too many computers.
