Camera Critters - Snowy Squirrel

I know it's terrible and I am going to burn for this but I have taken to feeding the squirrels and birds from my sliders. I always feed them but usually I throw the food quite far from my deck. Now, I do it so I can take pictures of the animals through my sliders. I justify it by calling the kids over whenever an animal comes to the window. It's not for me, it's for them. Yeah right. I am selfish and since getting my new camera, I really want to play.

This squirrel was digging under the snow to get some crackers I had put out the day before. The nighttime snow fall had covered all the food. I watched it burrowed under the snow to find food and and on the fourth time up, he/she looked right at me.

The snow on its little face is too cute and I love how his expression seems as if I caught him doing something he shouldn't be. His little hands/paws are so sweet too.

I couldn't choose which to post. The bottom one was my original thought but his face when I zoom is so cute. You decide.
