The Fireside Grown Up Guide To The Mom
We all know adulting is hard but thankfully there are these Fireside Grown Up Guides to help us out.
I read The Mom and LOVED it.
The 1960s styled photos are fun. I laughed at the cleverness of each page and the design of the book itself as it reminds me of every book I got out of the library when I was in grade school in the 70s. I absolutely have a favorite page: "The mom does not like hearing her own voice. That is because it does not sound like her voice anymore. It sounds like her mom’s." It reminded me of when my kids were much younger and I would end each yell with, "I don't like this voice. Don't make me use it."
