Quick-and-Easy, Toxin-Free Recipes to Replace Your Household Cleaners

Toxic chemicals are found in almost all commercial cleaners—the very products you buy to make your home hygienic and healthy! I am sure you have seen some tutorials on how to easily make some cleaning products that we pay a lot of money for. Why search the internet when you can have them all in a household cleaner cookbook per se?!

Introducing “Homemade Cleaners,” a new book featuring recipes, tips and tricks that will make your home sparkle and remain germ-free—without the dangerous toxins.

“Homemade Cleaners” features over 150 recipes that are all toxin-free, easy, affordable, highly-effective, and kid-friendly. Replace your current all-purpose cleaner with a 1:1 vinegar-and-water solution; for a heavy-duty glass cleaner, mix castile soap with 1 quart water; or for a granite counter cleaner, combine vodka, water, a drop of dish soap and essential oils. Then, just spray and clean!

We have made our list of ingredients that we need to pick up and will get started soon.  I cannot wait to try out these oh so easy recipes! Time to hit the $1.00 store and get some spray bottles. See you there.

  1. I know all of these recipes can probably be found floating around cyberspace but it is nice to see so many of them organized into one convenient book. Thanks for reviewing--planning on getting this one!
