Fall head over paws in love with DOG DAYS on Digital and DVD Now
The 411:
This was such a cute movie that would never have been on my radar if I hadn't received a review copy from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and that would have been so sad because I loved it!
There were so many familiar faces besides Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical and more), Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries) and Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), there was also; Adam Pally (The Mindy Project), Rob Corddry (Children's Hospital) (BTW...I am a huge fan of Rob's!, Jon Bass (Baywatch the movie), Michael Cassidy (The Magicians), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us) just to name a few.
The movie is for all dog lovers and anyone looking for a family friendly movie. There are 4 main story lines containing the big name female actresses, 1 with Adam Pally as well as a small one with Ron Cephas and Finn Wolfhard and each centers around dogs and intertwines with the other.LOVED it! The cast is great and the storylines have all the feels. I am a huge fan of Ken Marino who directed this and have been following his career since The State. Man I miss this show! AND let's not forget all these adorable dog actors. My daughter actually was very impressed with one dog stating "wow, he is a very good actor".
I don't have a personal favorite storyline. They are all wonderful but I probably love the ones with Rob Cephas Jones and Finn the best. There is something about Rob that cuts to the heart and Finn comes off as a sweet boy looking for a father figure.
Nina stars as Elizabeth a newscaster who finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her when her dog comes out of the bedroom carrying a bra that is not hers.
Vanessa is Tara a barista who is in love with the vet who works across the street. She finally gets to meet him when she finds a dog.
Jon is Dax, a slacker brother whose sister needs him to step up and help her take her dog when she and her husband have twins.
Eva (Grace) and Rob (Kurt) are a married couple who just adopted a little girl who doesn't speak until she finds a dog who is lost.
Ron is a lonely widower who loses his dog Mabel and befriends Pizza Boy Finn who helps him look for his dog.
The movie is full of heart, fun, and sweet and as someone who does a lot of volunteer work at an animal shelter and loves animals, I had all the feels. Way better than I expected. A definite feel good movie!

My Life In Pictures - November 16 - November 23
November 16 - Luna didn't mind wearing this constellation tie!
November 17 - My daughter and her friend have been friends since they were 3. I love this picture of these two at their preschool graduation and now as 8th graders.
November 18 - My daughter's artwork again digitally colored after sketched.
November 19 - The only photo taken this day was this wonderful DVD set of Robin Williams. To see my review
November 20 - School pickup Snapchat photo session.
November 21 - Looks like it may be a snowy winter!
November 22- A photo with 3 generations at Thanksgiving! Not the best but I love that the three of them are in it.
November 23 - Christmas quotes

My Life In Pictures - November 8 - November 15
November 8 - Heading over to babysit I had some extra time so pulled over, I no sooner put the truck in park and spotted this little beauty on the field. Can you see it?
November 9 - I am including this picture even though I had a better one for November 9th. I don't see myself when I look at this photo. I see my mother which is so interesting to me. How does this Snap filter make my mother? Weird! I am not sure if it is the glasses, placement of her mouth or what but I feel like I am looking at her. She died in 1978 so I guess this is what she would have looked like at the age of 52ish.
November 10 - Sadly the only photo I took on the 10th is of a mermaid tail I was reviewing. At least it is a pretty color.
November 11 - Our weekends are taken up with kittens and we love it. The kids and I have been cleaning and feeding kitten cages for almost 3 years and it is such a wonderful way to bond and help animals we CAN'T adopt.
November 12 -Another of my girl's artwork which she colored digitally after sketching. I love it!
November 13 - We are certified.
November 14 - Baby doll bathing at school. 2-3 year olds love bathing dolls. Well, they love playing in water.
November 15 - Snow snow snow! We had so much snow. I had the kids shoveling in case my husband came home he could get into the driveway but we ended up with so much snow and so many closed roads that he stayed at work for the night. Thank GOD!

My Life In Photos - November 1st - November 7th
November 1 - We had a tour of the high school that my daughter will be potentially going to in September. OH MY GOD! I can't with that. I have been blogging since she was born. Anywhooooo my son was part of the tour guides as we navigated the school, met various teachers, head about classes, saw the school and I was so proud!
November 2 - Our wedding anniversary fell on the tour date so we scheduled our dinner out (with the kids, not a date night) for the next night. It is blurry but I love this picture of my son and husband ribbing each other. It is what they do.
November 3 - I didn't take any photos on this date except for a product photo while I was babysitting for one of my students. I had tried this out with him and he loved it.
November 4 -Sage looks like we are using a filter on her. Her eyes look beautiful. There is no filter. This is one of 20 photos I took of her on my daughter's lap but it is one of my favorites.
November 5 - Snapchat filters are so much fun. When I sit in the car waiting for my son I usually read but sometimes, I play with my Snapchat filters. I am loving this color hair.
November 6 - Lucky you! You get two days of Snapchat filtered Marias!
November 7 - I love this pic of my daughter with the scooter. She looks athletic which is something I never was.

Ultimate gift for iPhone and iPad users!
This is the perfect book for anyone with an iPhone or iPad. Honesty whenever I find out something new that I can do on my iPad or iPhone I have to share it because we are never too old to learn and everyone is usually surprised with the new trick.
My daughter and I were excited to learn there is a nighttime mode that reduces eye strain with 3 clicks of a button. Seriously. Click your home button three times and your phone changes into a more eye friendly color theme. Not for you? click it three times again and you are back to normal.
This is the perfect gift to accompany an iPhone or iPad gift or for anyone who already owns one. I am getting one for my father-in-law who always has a question about how to do something on his iPhone. Maybe he can teach us at the next dinner get together.

My Life In Photos - October 28th - October 31, 2018
October 28th - Playing with my girl's hair is one of my favorite things. She has such gorgeous, long hair. However I suck at doing anything to it. I missed out on the doing hair gene that so many girls seem to naturally have.
October 29 - This is NOT an attractive photo but in the name of keeping it real, posting anyway. Goddess and I loved reviewing Watch Ya Mouth. You can see our review here.
October 30 - My kids helping me review a huge bean bag. They had a good time and we love the bean bag.
October 31 - We ran into my son's speech therapist from the ages 4-15 while we were Trick or Treating. They were so cute hugging in the street on Halloween and I am glad I am quick with the camera as I didn't expect the hug now that he is older. He loves her!

4 Short Romance Stories For Teens - Snow In Love
\
The 411:
I wasn't sure what to expect from a teen romance book but was really pleasantly surprised.
These 4 authors created a book that isn't mature or childish. They are perfect for ages 13+. The love isn't overly done they seem mostly innocent and sweet. The last story was a gay romance story so maybe this book isn't for everyone but if your child is into romance this is a decent book.
My favorite was the first story by Kasie West about a road trip where the girl never realizes that her high school crush was into her the whole time. Very innocent and sweet.
