Today was my children's classmate's birthday party. I was really looking forward to it because I knew it was in one of the biggest gymnastic facilities in my area. They had a blast but more than that, I loved getting a few photos of my son with his two friends. These are the first friends that he has chose on his own. Most of his other friends are boys that I introduced to him through my friends.
I am going to frame this one for his room. I am aware that they may not all be friends next year or even by the summer but I think that those primary friendships are important and can really impact a child's life.
Or they could be friends for life. My son has a friend he met seven years ago. We moved, but they are still friends.
