The World’s First Natural Immune-Boosting Antibiotic Alternative

I am sooo buying stock in BPrime Health and ordering a case of these products immediately.

The world’s first natural immune-boosting antibiotic alternative which helps fight seasonal sickness symptoms at the source. Not intended to temporarily mask, cover-up or suppress symptoms, this high potency, nutrient-packed liquid formula is designed to quickly deliver full strength Prime Results!

Take at the first sign of symptoms. Taste the raw ingredients. Feel it working quickly.
Experience the difference!

The Flu-B-Gone definitely was harder of the two to take at first but it didn’t take long for me to get use to especially after realizing quickly that this stuff works! No joke. Not kidding. I was feeling quite run down last Friday and just happened to have received a box of this elixir the day before so figured I would try it. Friday night before bed i suddenly realized how great I felt. I was certain I would be in bed for the weekend and was doing my third load of laundry and planning the weekend.

According to the website and paperwork that came with the product, a liquid form absorbs into the body quicker than a capsule so you will feel the results quicker.

I recommend it 100% to fight seasonal sickness symptoms at the source. Not intended to temporarily mask, cover-up or suppress symptoms, this high potency, nutrient-packed liquid formula is designed to rapidly deliver full strength Prime Results!

Take at the first sign of symptoms. Taste the raw ingredients. Feel it working quickly. Experience the difference!

I totally agree with everything the site says. You can taste every ingredient. I have gotten use to the taste with its Apple Cider Vinegar base and since I work in preschool will be taking this often as well as the Immune Booster Express which was easier to get use to. It tastes really good! You can take them both 3-4 times a day and I will be!

Sending a case to my dad and my Uncle for Christmas. It is perfect because I never know what to get those guys and this will help them get through the cold and flu season.

Teaching Social Skills Is So Important To The Adult Your Child Will Eventually Become

I have been familiar with Boys Town Press for a while now and I love what they are doing to help families through love, support and education. Social Skills are important and unfortunately they are mostly taught to children who are on the spectrum but not through mainstream education. My son always had social skill in his therapy sessions, classes, with his teachers and counselors and is the kindest person I know. When I worked in the school I found it odd that social skills which are so important to a happy life are not taught. A mother I made sure to teacher BOTH my children how to be good people, how to handle situations and themselves based on the situation. How will they learn unless someone teachers them. In my mind, it was my job to make sure my children were good people that others would want to be with long after I was gone.

I guess others would have called me a helicopter parent but that is NOT at all how I saw myself. Often times at the park I saw a lot of children trying to navigate a great big world without any input from their parents who were often engage in adult conversations or on the phone. While their child either hogged swings, wouldn't let others go down a slide, took toys away from other children or just said very mean things. I stayed near and made sure my children knew how to take turns, say excuse me, help someone who needed help, or just use manners when they spoke to people. I sometimes worried that they would think they couldn't do anything right but I gave them freedom and allowed them to make mistakes so that we could correct and talk about it later.  Social skills unlike math, writing, reading, science and social studies are something that will be used every day so why are they not included in educational plans?

All children should be taught at home and at school how to use their manners, use patience, kindness, how to take turns, focus on tasks, help others and more. These things are not hard to teach and they take practice so the more you talk about it when the situation arises the better.

Books like Herman Jiggle Go To Sleep, But I Need Your Help Now, and Fix It With Focus are wonderful reads because they serve as reminders for children in an easy to follow way by using real situations your child will encounter in life.

But I Need Your Help Now is about a little boy learning how to get an adults attention without interrupting unless completely necessary and what makes something necessary

Fix It With Focus is about a little boy who needs help staying focused. He learns that staying focused means he can get to the fun quicker. He is given an outline by some well meaning adults who show him the Fix It With F-O-C-U-S.

Herman Jiggle Go To Sleep is about a little boy who has so many questions while his very sleepy mommy does her best to answer them all. She keeps reminding him that he needs to sleep. I loved this book so much. As a preschool teachers I can tell you that I can tell which kids have a routine bedtime and get a proper amount of sleep and the ones who go to sleep whenever they pass out for the night.
Children do require a certain amount of sleep and if you keep the routine the same every night your child will go to sleep. At school we have 10 kids we need to get to sleep at the same time and they are not in cribs but we manage with most of them out within 10-15 minutes. It is because we do the same thing every single nap time. Kids are creatures of habit and if you maintain a routine and they know what is expected they will do it. I teach 2-3 year olds and I am here to tell you it works! Even though most parents are amazed they stay on their mats for 2 hours without talking or getting up. All it takes is a routine!

THE COMMUTER - Bring It Home on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital #TheCommuter

The 411:

We thought it would be another Taken. We loved Taken! Well, it is Liam Neeson so of course it is amazing and full of action.

Liam plays Michael an Insurance Salesman who just lost his job and is heading home on the same train he has taken every day for 10 years. This particular day a blonde mystery woman sits down and tells him that she will give him $100,000 if he finds the right person based on their nickname and destination and plants a tracking device on their bag. She also tells him that if he fails, tells someone or refuses she will have his wife and son killed.   He doesn't want any part of it but her continued phone calls tell him she is not bluffing.

The movie is full of action even though the entire thing takes place on a train and while I know Neeson doesn't voice Optimum Prime it is all I think about when he speaks (Sorry Peter Cullen). It has a great "real time" feel and we loved that!!

The Most Perfect Mattress Ever!

Usually I keep my Amazon Vine Reviews separate from Maria's Space but I really have to share this with you.

As an Amazon Vine Reviewer I receive products for my honest opinion and sometimes they are pretty damn amazing!

We received the Classic Brands Mercer 12 Inch Hybrid Cool Gel Memory Foam and Innerspring Mattress, Full Size.

My Amazon Review:

This bed is beyond great. We put the bed up this past Saturday and are still talking about it even know. The bed feels like a big pillow. It is made from memory foam which is wrapped around each steel coil innersprings...yada, yada, yada...

OK...I don't know much about mattress but here is what I do know.

When you lie on the bed you feel as if you are lying on a pillow that completely fits every part of your body.

The moment you first sit you can feel the difference. You body just relaxes and you sink into a cloud of amazingness. Is that even a word? The mattress literally conforms to your body.

My son is thrilled with his new mattress and we can't stay off his bed.

With memory foam when you move off a certain area in your sleep the memory foam fills in any gaps and re-configures to your body shape.

Falling asleep is not a problem. My husband and I are looking into a king size for our room and my daughter wants one for her twin bed.

The bed is truly heaven and we have spent the last three days being kicked out by my son who wants HIS bed.

UPDATE: We just ordered a King size for ourselves. All weekend afternoon naps were taken in his bed. The moment we saw he was awake we both ran for it. Best bed ever and I can't wait to get ours. We deserve it! Now to save enough for Goddess to get a new mattress because she is demanding and reminding us how unfair it is that everyone but her is getting one. Hers was the newest until now.

Give The Gift Of Family Time With These New Hasbro Games

Holidays are right around the corner and this means so hectic days are up ahead as we shop shop and shop to make sure we get everyone on our list something amazing for Christmas.  So while you are sipping your eggnog in front of the fireplace, making your list and checking it twice I thought I would give you some food for thought.

Kids these days love their electronics! They do. They love their computer games, their video games, their smartphone games but if you really want to spend some time together as a family, there is nothing like good old board games especially on days when the electronics aren't available like this past Thanksgiving when my whole town ended up without electricity for nearly 20 hours. Yeah it was an interesting Thanksgiving but more on that some other time.

Thankfully, the week before we received a shipment from Hasbro that kept my family sane on a really different Thanksgiving.

The book contained Simon Swipe, Monopoly Junionr and Playdoh Launch.

Handsome got right to the Simon Swipe which is a great new Simon game. I loved playing Simon as a kid with my sisters and love how they have altered the game to contain some swipes of the keys. It was so much fun and out of all of them this is the one I see them playing most often.

The Monopoly Junior is really a great game and at the moment I am so upset because we lost a whole 5 minute video on the game. It was really a fun video with Goddess and I explaining how you play it. I am not sure where it is and have searched all my folders. UGH. If I find it, I will post it but I believe it is lost forever.

It is definitely a game that can be played with kids as young as 4 and isn't as long as the original. You land on the property, you buy the property. You place your card and everyone who lands on it pays you. The best part is that the prices are all in the ones place so there is no big counting for the little ones involved. We love the game pieces which consist of a car, cat, dog and boat.

Here we are playing it on Thanksgiving on a very cold morning.

The board is so colorful and the cards make for easy buying of property if you get the right one

Lastly, we love our Playdoh and I can't imagine a time where we will not have a Playdoh can in this house.  We were thrilled to try out Playdoh Launch.

In Playdoh Launch you create balls with Playdoh and launch it into the Playdoh canister as it spins around opening and closing it's mouth! We love this type of game.

What a great way to spend time with your kids to laugh and play. Unplug your kids and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Mighty Leaf Tea Gift Box

The 411 by Maria:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE tea. In fact my nickname is grandma among my girlfriends because when we all lived together I was 2 and 3 years old then them and every night had to have my cup of tea. We were only in our early 20s but they found it so funny. One night they hid my beloved tea and there was hell to pay. I need my tea! I don't even have a favorite. I like them all black tea, herbal tea, green tea, I don't play favorites. I am a coffee lover as well. I don't know if it is habit or if I just love the warm, calming feeling I get when I drink one or the other.

This week I gave up my beloved coffee because after trying Mighty Leaf Tea I was truly hooked and couldn't get enough. I received the Mighty Leaf Holiday Collection Tea Chest to try along with their patented travel brew mug. The mug has a slit for your tea bag which means you never lose it and your tea doesn't over brew because as you drink it the bag stays close to the lid.

The Tea is a whole other story! I drink a lot of tea. This tea is honestly and I am not even doing the blogger thing here. If you are a friend of mine that I see daily, you have heard about this tea. I even gave samples out at work as hard as it was because honestly all I kept thinking was how I would have fewer but I NEEDED to share these. It wasn't enough to just say how good they were. Here is a picture of the tea. It looks wonderful and unprocessed. I have never seen tea like this. I am used to tea that just looks like a bunch of black stuff in a tea bag. OH...and speaking of tea bags...I love these tea bags. They are almost so pretty I don't want to use them. Truly a work of art. Each bag looks hand sewn as if someone who loves you made them for you.

You Seriously Need To Read My Latest Beach Read

The 411 by Maria:

WOW! WOW! WOW! I truly love this book. It is sexy, funny, witty and a great read.

Carolyn is a baker, cat person and has been missing her "O" since, well longer than anyone should. Her elusive O has her on edge and cranky, plus she gets to listen to her new neighbor bang his headboard on her bedroom wall all night while he gives a "harem" of woman their very noisy O's. One night when a picture falls on her head while he is "wall banging" she storms over to his place to give him a piece of her mind and well.....the story just gets better from there.

I highly recommend this book. Alice Clayton has become one of my favorite authors with one book and I can't wait to see what else she has written. AND...now after hearing 5 minutes of the audio, I SO NEED TO GET THAT TOO! Check it out for yourself.

Read as Carolyn tries very hard to find her O and her very amusing body conversations and find out what happens with Carolyn and WallBanger Simon!

I am also happy to report, it appears that may be a WallBanger movie. Hopefully it doesn't pull a 50 Shades and we wait for eternity to see it. My casting for Simon Joe Manganiello but I am totally biased because I would cast him in everything.

Growing Up I Wish I Had A Geek Dad

What I Can Tell You: I am proud to say that my kids have a Geek Dad. We look to him for all the cool ideas.

Geek Dad is chock full of DIY projects that are not just geared to dads. Moms can have a great time with this too!

Each section gives you easy to follow directions that even the Non-Geek (me)  mom can follow.  Ken Denmead has taken each project and broken it down by the materials needed, the cost of the project, the level of difficulty and the amount of time necessary to complete.

Personally I really liked the section on making comic strips using toys and the cyborg jack-o-lanterns. Look for mine this Halloween.

Today's generation of dads grew up more tech-savvy than ever. Rather than joining the Little League team, many grew up playing computer games, Dungeons and Dragons, and watching Star Wars. Now with kids of their own, these digital-age dads are looking for fresh ways to share their love of science and technology, and help their kids develop a passion for learning and discovery.

I am going to leave this book out and hope that my husband takes a gander at it. Really great book.
