New Fairy-Tale Collection Shares Magical Lessons on Love for Young Readers

Order On Amazon

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 28, 2025 — In her enchanting new release, Animal Fairy Tales Book Ten: Touch of Love, Milana Anderson—a Moonbeam Gold Medalist and contender for two Guinness World Records—celebrates the many ways love shapes, heals and inspires.

From a python who learns that love should never squeeze too tightly, to star-crossed sweethearts whose hearts mend even the fiercest anger, to a hippo and pig who prove that love can be gloriously messy (and delightfully muddy), each tale in Touch of Love twirls between laughter and longing, reminding young readers that every kind of love has its own magic.

This milestone tenth volume in Anderson’s beloved Animal Fairy Tales series features 25 short stories for readers ages 6–11, each revealing a different face of love—from loyal to forbidden, unrequited, fateful and more. Her imaginative animal characters wrestle with emotion, courage and kindness in stories that leave children laughing, learning and looking at love anew.

“Parents often ask me why children are so captivated by my fairy tales. My answer is simple: children recognize themselves in my stories,” Anderson said. “They find their emotions on every page and walk away feeling seen, heard and empowered. Fairy tales can hold a child’s hand and whisper, You’re not alone. You’re becoming.

Across her 177 original fairy tales featured in her 10-book series, Anderson transforms animals into storytellers of the human heart—boxing bears, ice-skating lions, dancing rabbits—each teaching lessons of empathy, courage and kindness. Other volumes in the series include Touch of Adventure, Touch of Joy and Touch of Gratitude.

“I’m not just creating bedtime stories,” she added. “I’m building bridges. Fairy tales, when written with emotional honesty, are more than entertainment. They’re powerful, transformative tools. They heal. They influence. They gently guide children through the complexities of growing up.”

Pfizer Whistleblower's Story Unveiled: Becky McClain's "Exposed" Memoir Hits Shelves October 28

NEW YORKOct. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a gripping new release from Skyhorse Publishing, molecular biologist and whistleblower Becky McClain lays bare her harrowing journey in "Exposed," a book that promises to shake the foundations of corporate accountability and government oversight within the biotech industry. Set for wide release on October 28, "Exposed" chronicles McClain's years-long battle against pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, following her allegations of unsafe laboratory practices and the retaliation she says she endured for speaking out.

The book opens with a powerful foreword by consumer and safety advocate Ralph Nader, who frames McClain's story as a chilling example of systemic failure. "No general description of this book can convey the horror and details of what Becky McClain and her husband, Mark, endured at the hands of Pfizer, enabled over the years by collusion with government officials," Nader writes, setting the tone for a narrative that intertwines scientific insight with painful personal trauma and legal struggle.

McClain, a former research scientist, became a central figure in a high-profile whistleblower case after raising concerns about viral vector safety in Pfizer's labs. Her claims, which included a life-threatening illness acquired from exposure to genetically engineered viruses and facing workplace retaliation, led to a legal battle that drew national attention and sparked debate over biotech safety standards and employee rights.

McClain's voice resonates throughout the pages. "I've written this book as a witness to a system gone bad — a system that breaks people bad — a system that threatens the public's health, workers' rights, and America's right to freedom of speech," she states, underscoring the urgency and personal cost of her journey.

"Exposed" is more than a memoir—it's a call to action. Through meticulous documentation and emotional candor, McClain invites readers to examine the intersection of science, ethics, and power. The book also explores the broader implications for workers in high-risk industries and the mechanisms that protect—or fail to protect—them.

With endorsements from trade experts and authors, "Exposed" offers readers a rare look inside the biotech industry's hidden corners, blending scientific insight with emotional depth and legal drama. It is a story of resilience, accountability, and the fight for transparency in an era of rapid technological advancement in the 21st century.

"Exposed" is poised to become a touchstone in discussions about whistleblower protections and corporate transparency. As the biotech industry continues to evolve, McClain's story serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of scientific advancement––and the ongoing risks to worker safety as well as public health in a world still marked by the pain and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Exposed" is available now on Amazon.com and in bookstores.

Hallmark Magic Meets Medical Drama in Psychologist’s New Book, The Doc’s Christmas Miracle

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23, 2025 — Bestselling author and forensic psychologist S. A. Stolin delivers a warm and cozy blend of heart, hope and holiday magic in her new release, The Doc’s Christmas Miracle.

“Christmas has always struck me as the perfect backdrop for transformation — it’s a season of hope, miracles and rediscovery,” said Stolin, whose background in psychology brings a unique authority to her characters and their relationships.

Set in the small town of Crescent Hill, The Doc’s Christmas Miracle combines the charm of a Hallmark holiday romance with the high stakes of a medical drama. When a Christmas Eve snowstorm traps patients and staff inside the local clinic, two dedicated doctors must join forces to save lives — and perhaps open their hearts to second chances. Secrets surface, forgiveness is tested, and the line between science and miracle begins to blur.

More than a holiday love story, The Doc’s Christmas Miracle explores resilience, forgiveness and the surprising ways healing can arrive — even in the middle of life’s hardest seasons. Perfect for fans of Hallmark holiday movies, uplifting romances or small-town dramas with heart, Stolin’s latest book is a cozy escape brimming with snow, sparkle and a touch of Christmas magic.

My Amateur Review

If you are a fan of Christmas romance, second chances, medical drama and a murder mystery this is for you.

Doctor Moore is a researcher with a controversial memory machine that he is trying to prove can help Alzheimer patients remember the missing pieces of their memory.  Doctor Pace is a Psychiatrist who works at the facility that Dr. Moore was enlisted to try his machine at.

The two who start off as rivals soon find themselves falling and uncovering long buried secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.

I loved most of the characters especially the patients. They made the book even more enjoyable.  Their spunkiness had me chuckling. As for Dr. Moore and Dr. Pace. There were times I felt for each of them although as a fan of a slow burn romance I had a difficult time appreciating their journey to each other.

The mystery was very enjoyable and something I was not expecting when I started reading. I highly recommend!

Crispy Fruit Are The Perfect Creepy Treat For My Preschool Class' Goody Bag This Year #crispyfruit #halloweentreats #snacks

Every year I struggle with what kind of sweet treat I can add to my preschool class goody bag but NOT this year.  I am giving them Halloween themed Squishes because they LOVE them, bubbles, pencils and Crispy Fruit in a really cute jack-o-lantern goody bag that I stocked up on two years ago from a discount store after Halloween.

CrispyFruit by Crispy Green are all-natural go-to snacks made from just one ingredient: 100% pure fruit. They’re crunchy, delicious, portable, and available in handy 4-packs (each with four single servings in one pouch). It’s the guilt-free Halloween hero. They come in 7 delicious varieties like my personal favorite mango, plus apple, pear, tangerine, pineapple, banana and strawberry.

This treat is a favorite for my family and I love that it is allergy free, has no added sugar and no preservatives.

It is perfect for grab and go, I always have one in my purse or  tote because working two jobs sometimes I only have travel time between to snack on something and this is super easy.

You can find them in most supermarkets in the produce section and amazon

I cannot wait for Halloween and I know my class are going to love their good bags.

Rediscovering the Art of Letter Writing: A Heartfelt Return to Loved Ones

Yesterday my daughter and I went through a bin of old cards and letters I had in the garage. She organized it into piles and put it all back in the bin in order of who everything was from. Old letters from family, friends and ex boyfriends. Her take away was that as she gets older her generation will not have anything like this to look back on, re-read or share with family.

It's sad and true. No one sends letters anymore. Thankfully I do have a friend who still sends letters and cards but these days and I get so excited when I receive one and add it to my current journal. These days everyone sends texts and it's not like anyone is printing out their back and forth conversations for prosperity.

Looking through the old love letters and retelling stories of people who were a big deal in my life way before she was born was cathartic and fun. I had forgotten some of the letters and others felt like only yesterday I had received them.

There was too much to go through them all because we were organizing and talking but I cannot wait to sit and really read them. Letters from my father who is now gone, cards and postcards I got from my grandparents as they travelled and love letters from ex-boyfriends that made me feel special. Hearing her "geez mom, another name. Another pile!" still makes me laugh right now.

I think sending letters is important and we should make a conscious effort of telling those we love how much we love them in something they can hold and re-read. In the past I have left my kids love letters as I left the house for work and they slumbered on but I think it's time to do this more. We are all getting older and I want her to have the "receipts" of my love in something she can see, hold, and share with her friends and family when I am no longer here.

70s Style Slasher Film Brute 1976

BRUTE 1976 IS AVAILABLE TODAY ON VOD, DIGITAL PLATFORMS FROM CINEPHOBIA RELEASING

Releasing is proud to announce the release of director Marcel Walz’s (That’s A WrapPretty Boy) and writer Joe Knetter’s (George A. Romero’s Twilight of the Dead) latest feature Brute 1976. The film is now available on VOD, digital platforms including Amazon Prime VideoApple TVGoogle PlayVimeo on Demand, and YouTube Movies.

Brute 1976 is bloody and sexy, with a deranged family so demented they make John Waters’s Pink Flamingos look like a paradigm of family values,” said Cinephobia President Raymond Murray. “Brute 1976 restored my faith in horror that shocks.”

An homage to ‘70s horror cult classics The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have EyesBrute 1976 takes place in 1976, when Raquel and her girlfriend have car trouble and break down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. At the same time, a group of people are in the desert for a photoshoot. Soon, they stumble upon an abandoned town where a family of masked psychopaths reside.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes, both the originals and remakes” said Walz. “Brute 1976 was an amazing experience to shoot: It was hot, it was dirty and it was bloody. I’m sure the audience will feel that on screen.”

"We are so excited to have Brute 1976, our modern take on the 70s horror films we love so much, in the hands of Cinephobia for it's North American release”, said Knetter. “We look forward to everyone experiencing the Birdy family in all their gory glory."
