Me? You Want A Picture of Me and My What?

Remember the post I wrote on August 30th about Avocado Breakfast Pizza?  Well, Thursday I received an email from Mom Central congratulating me.

Congratulations - you’ve been chosen as one of the eight Avocado League bloggers!

What? huh? Yup..can you even believe it? Me either! The Grand Slam prize package of this contest will receive a year’s supply of avocados and a $5,000 grocery gift card. Ok, let me take a drink because I have dry mouth just writing this.

On Friday, I received an email that a professional photographer would be coming to my house to take pictures of me and my breakfast pizza. Geez! As a blogger I tend to be of the shy persuation which is why you will find me behind my computer and behind the camera. Writing is much more comfortable for me than talking and I have so many concerns about tomorrow especially after reading the recipes I am up against.

Now, it is time to follow my own advice and do something I am constantly asking of my children; do your best! No one can ever fault you for doing your very best.
