In Perfect Harmony by Laura DeLuca (A Jersey Girl Novel 2)

Erin Conway swore off men completely after her last boyfriend left her to raise a child alone.

Ravi Dawes is a musician running from the grief that nearly destroyed him.
When the two meet on an internet dating site, sparks fly and they both believe they've found the perfect match. Unfortunately, Erin’s influential family doesn’t approve of Ravi or his career. And Ravi knows his shady past could destroy their relationship before it begins.

Can two people whose lives are marred by sorrow and regret find healing in each other’s arms? Or will the past sour their perfect harmony?

The 411:

I have read 5 Laura DeLuca books and I can tell you this. You will not be disappointed. In Perfect Harmony is book 2 in the Jersey Girl Series and can stand alone although if you missed book 1, I implore you to read it.

The main character in this book is Erin, a single mom who has had enough of men and has decided that her son will be her main man. Her friends have other plans and talk her into starting a profile on a dating site.

Dating sites can really suck but sometimes the planets put you exactly in the right alignment with the very person you are supposed to meet and for Erin that is Ravi, a bar musician running from a traumatic past and looking for a new start.

The characters are wonderfully filled out and filled with personality.  Laura writes characters you want to know.   The story is filled with humor, friendship, romance, new beginnings and fighting for what you want.

You find yourself routing for Ravi and Erin and hope nothing or no one comes between them.
