This is a wonderful toy for little ones who love to imitate mommy. My kids as young as 2 wanted to help clean an I always worried about cleaners or even just dust getting into their nose or eyes while they helped me. This is perfect because littles can "clean" right behind you with their own little set. 

This set is well made and colorful. The plastic is firm enough to last while your kids learn basic cleaning skills and pretend to clean.

I love the little wet floor sign and little broom and shovel. The size is perfect for little hands and small enough that as long as they stay far enough away from each other, they won't knock each other in the head while using the broom, mop and duster.

Every kid I have ever known or babysat for when I was growing up has loved a doctor kit including yours truly. 

There are so many pieces and gives kids a little control over something that sometimes gives them anxiety. 

You can take someone's blood pressure or temperature, hear their heartbeat, put a band-aid on them and more. The only thing that would have made this kit better would be a doctor costume.

Kids love imitating the adults in their life and watching Mommy or Daddy cook is high on the list.  My kids loved this toy when they were in preschool. The produce comes in two pieces kept together by a Velcro piece. It also comes with a cutting board and knife all made of plastic with no sharp edges. You place the fruit or veggie on the cutting board and cut through it with the knife creating two separate pieces of fruit.  Kids get to practice cutting fruit in a safe way and then putting all the fruit and veggies back together.

This is definitely a great way to help build those fine motor skills and our Occupational Therapist was actually the one who introduced us to this toy way back in the day.

The Produce is brightly colored! Goes and stays together. Separate easily with the dull, plastic knife and is also teaching kids about healthy eating. No snacks or hot dogs here.

Kids love shopping. There is something about putting food in that little basket, putting it on the conveyor and then into the bag.  Kids love imitating the adults in their life and shopping for kids seems like a very adult thing to do. You have a basket or a cart, you go up and down the aisle selecting things you know you will make for the week. This little shopping basket is perfect for pretend play. The basket and food is light so that even kids as young as 18 months can play. All the food is colorful and fairly realistic looking. This is a great pretend toy or a way teaching tool. My kids loved a game I played called the Guess What Game. I would close my eyes and they would place a food in my hand and based on the shape I had to figure out what it was. If I couldn't I was allowed to ask two questions like is it a breakfast food or a fruit. Then we would switch where they would try to figure it out.

 

The boxes are made of cardboard so if you have a little one that puts things in their mouth, the paper will get wet. I remember the cans had labels for only about two months because my at the time, 2 year old would hold it to her mouth all the time.
