The New Naked by Dr. Fisch Out Tomorrow

Photobucket

New York’s more exclusive sexual health doctor and professor of reproductive medicine at Cornell, Dr. Fisch hears from hundreds of couples whose sex drive has dwindled—even (as TheNew York Times noted last month) when they’re otherwise in happy relationships.

In The New Naked (April 22, 2014), he reveals the biological basis behind low libido in both men and women—an ultimate sex education for grown-ups.

I wanted to see if you’re interested in reviewing the book in April/May. Dr. Fisch will be appearing on The Dr. Oz Show on April 22.

“Being intimate is critical to relationships, and Dr. Fisch makes the entire effort a blast.” —Dr. Mehmet Oz

“Harry Fisch knows more about sex than any other person on earth, with the possible exception of Colin Farrell.”
—A. J. Jacobs, New York Times bestselling author of The Year of Living Biblically and Drop Dead Healthy

The book discusses:

·         The Top 3 Things that Affect Women’s Relationship Satisfaction: Listening, Security, Desire
·         How Often Should You Be Having Sex?
·         Why Doesn’t He Want to Have Sex with Me? The 4 Top Reasons for Low Male Libido
·         Why Watching Porn Really Does Ruin Your Sex Life
·         The Foods that Help Him Get it Up
·         His Best Advice to Men? Shut the Eff Up (and how to do it)

Dr. Harry Fisch, M.D., often called “the male Dr. Ruth,” is the host of Sirius XM’s The Dr. Harry Fisch Show and regularly appears on The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show, CBS This Morning, 60 Minutes and others. Website: www.harryfisch.com

The 411 by Maria:

I hear a book is about sex and I am all over that. I love reading about sex especially if I find out it can make my sex life better. I have a great sex life and wish more woman could concur. Most of my friends tell me differently and it makes me very sad for them.

The new Naked The Ultimate Sex Education for Grownups, is an easy to follow read about everything from how to ask for what you need and why you should.

Things that affect the libido and why you should stop doing something or start. Exercise is good for sex. I definitely agree.

Did you know watching too much porn can actually hurt your sexual relationship.

I love the letters that are included and Dr. Fisch's advice. I love the quizzes because they reminded me of my beloved Cosmo quizzes.

All in all this is a great book but my favorite section had little to do with sex and more to do with communication. The section titled L is for Listening...So Shut The F**k Up.

Dr. Fisch breaks it down. Listen to your wife. She is sharing. Her endless talking about things you think are unimportant and dis-interesting to you actually make for a better relationship. Men need to learn how to really listen. Stop with the eye rolling and the come on come on hand gestures. This doesn't mean woman are great at communicating. The doc is not putting all communication problems on the men. Woman need to speak up. Get right to the chase and do it in smaller sentences.

If you have a man who will listen to your every word as if you are stating the most important things he will ever hear, good for you.  I don't have one of those guys and only know two people who do. One is more alpha male than her man and the other is in a very new relationship.

This section alone is worth the cost of the book. Dr. Fisch speaks in real words that man and woman will appreciate.

Great book, I highly recommend it.
