As an official Soup-er Blogger I get many issues of Chicken Soup for the Soul and love each and every one for different reasons. Some stories sit with me still, some make me laugh, some make me cry, some make me think and some just are. If you are a fan of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Books this is a great one.


No matter what we are doing in our lives we need to remember to stay fresh, stay current, stay true to ourselves and stay inspired. Without inspiration we just breathe. Don't get me wrong but if we are living every day just taking breaths but not really living, what's the point?! This book was filled with two to three page stories from people like me who are writing. They write with a need, with a purpose. Whether it is to pay the bills, for creative reasons or just to remember their life when they have time to sit back and wonder where the years have gone it will all be there on paper, or in some sort of electronic format.

Each story was entertaining and enlightening but the one that stood out to me was written by Pamela Louise Walker called Why I Write. We all write for different reasons and as long as we know our individual reason, that is all that matters.
