The 411 by Maria:

I was very interested in viewing this as my husband's family if from Vigo Spain and go there 6 months of the year. Not a bad life huh? Well, I have yet to be there even though there would be a beautiful place to stay with people who know exactly where to go and what to do. We are not in a position to plan a vacation any time soon. I LOVED this video. Hearing how beautiful it is from my family isn't the same as seeing a well produced movie of the area.
Gorgeous! I can completely see why they long to go back every 6 months. They come here for the grand-kids but Spain is there home. Truly a beautiful place to live and after seeing this I want to visit and see the history I have heard them speak of for the past 20 years of my life. Portugal is the second destination featured. With stunning landscapes and amazing food! If you love visually stunning journeys which you can take right from your living room. This is the DVD for you.

  4. Thanks for having the giveaway! I appreciate the opportunity to be able to participate! My Grandpa was born and raised in Lisbon Portugal. But then came over on a ship way back in the early 1900s. He was born in 1900. But lived a good majority of his life here in the United States. He had passed on in 1979, when I was just 12 yeras old. But I have fond memories of him from when I was a kid, and love and miss him very much to this day.

  6. Maria,

I wanted to give you an update. I was the winner of the Spain/Portugal Blu-Ray and received the prize today. We watched it tonight. We were very impressed with the architecture. Spain pretty much blew my husband away. I wish they had shown more of the people and food, but for strictly architecture it was stunning. I didn't care for the narrators, who mispronounced some words (they weren't Portuguese, Spanish, or native English speakers). We were perplexed trying to figure out the accents of the narrators.

Overall we really enjoyed the sights and it made my husband want to book the next flight to Barcelona.

    Thanks for the awesome prize!
