This past summer we attended a Mad Science Party in my town. Every kid at the party was amazed and interested at what "science guy" was talking about. It started a whole new way of thinking for the parents and kids who attended. Science is found in everything and kids are very interested in things that they can see, prove, touch; things that are tangible. What a wonderful way to learn.

Recently, I heard about KNOW thanks to Mom Central.

The Hands on projects are manageable and fun. They include a supply list, pictures and directions. I love pictures! We are going to attempt one about finding the hidden colors in black ink. 

This is the perfect teacher gift for the holiday for your 1st - 5th grade teachers or the "science kid" on your list. I have two nephews who would love a subscription to this magazine for the holidays. My Christmas buy list is getting smaller by the minute.
