Commentors Award Comes With A Prize

Ok, so I was surfing today and noticed a really great idea over at Luxury Reading!

Not sure if you guys noticed but yesterday, I throw up a cute little Top Commentor Widget majig!

I was going to write up this whole beautiful post about my commentors and give them a virtual award thingy. Well, that's nice and all but since reading Vera's post over at Luxury Reading I am going to tear out a page from her book and borrow (she said it's ok) the idea.

Starting this week! The Top Commentor will be chosen once a month and they will get to choose one of two items offered (depending on what I have on hand that week). "Could be lunch meat, could be peaches, point is this, just because it's free don't mean it's no good!" Anyone know where that obscure quote is from?

Rules! I know rules when I'm winning something? In life my friends, there are always rules. Frequency of commenting counts, but so does the quality - a creative and relevant comment will get you more points than something like "sounds great".

This week, my top commentor is Lorie of

Lorie has been a wonderful source of good vibes since she first visited me a few months back. I adore her and her wonderful, relevant, caring, comments.

Bill is in the hospital right now and she could use some good vibes her way! So, if you have a chance head over and say hi to this very sweet, caring, funny, vibrant women!

So, Lorie, this week the Commentor Giveaway choices are:

The Unexpected Gift

or

I'm so Happy For You

The winner will be notified by email and I will ask for your mailing address to send out your choice.

Vera, thanks for a great idea!

  5. It has been awhile since I have posted, but I wanted to say this is a fun idea. Since I have discovered Facebook, I have been neglecting all my blogs that I subscribe to. I am planning on thinning them out and getting caught up on the ones I keep--of course I will keep yours! I love to read your memes!
And I always say, free stuff is fun!!!
