"I Love Getting Flowers" (hint, hint) & Hint Cards *Giveaway*

I love getting flowers! I have maybe received flowers about 7 times in my 42 years. Sad but true. When I was working in an office there was a women who got flowers from her husband all the time and every time she complained that he sent roses. "Red roses? Red roses? He knows I hate red roses!" I remember thinking, you got flowers and you are complaining? It is not that she hated getting flowers, she just thought the red roses were so uninspiring and uncreative.

In a recent survey conducted by the California Cut Flowers Commission, 42% of women don’t receive flowers as often as they would like. That’s why the CCFC has come up with a “Hint Card” to help deserving moms, such as yourself, drop a hint to that certain someone that they would like to receive a beautiful bouquet of the world’s freshest flowers, California Grown flowers!

These Hint Cards incorporate a little romance or a little humor and are the perfect size to be left under pillows, inside lunch bags, stuck on mirrors, tucked in billfolds, placed on plates or just delivered from hand to hand.
What makes California grown flowers special? When you buy California grown flowers you’re buying flowers that:

· Meet the strictest growing standards in the world.
· Were raised in a world-class, year-round environment perfect for growing hundreds of varieties.
· Were most likely still in the field just 24 hours before you purchase them and therefore are much fresher and will last longer.

About the California Cut Flower CommissionThe CCFC is an organization representing more than 275 cut flower and foliage growers from San Diego to the Oregon border. The Commission is uniquely focused on growers and helping them to thrive in order to ensure consumers in the US have quick and affordable access to the freshest, highest quality flowers possible. The flowers were beautiful and seeing the box outside my door made me unbelievably happy.

I used them in my Ruby Tuesday post this week.

In a Nutshell: Who doesn't love to receive flowers? Who couldn't use more flowers? I had to add water to mine two times because these were the first cut flowers I have ever had to actually drink their water. Who knew cut flowers drink water? I didn't!!
