This week I received a Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer. March has been an extremely bad month for all kinds of colds in my house. We had ear infections, throat infections, colds, coughs, and fevers ranging from 99.9 - 103.
Exergen Temporal Thermometer takes an accurate temperature with a gentle swipe of the forehead.
- Take off the protective cap.
- Put the thermometer in the center of the forehead.
- Push down the grey, scan button
- Drag the thermometer across the forehead until you reach the hair line.
- Read the temperature on the LCD screen.
- DONE!
No more beeping in a sleeping child's ear with an ear thermometer.
How does it work? The temporal artery is directly connected to the carotid artery (the artery leading to the heart).
In A Nutshell: For a price of $29.99 - $34.92 you can't go wrong. For a totally non-invasive way to get an accurate temperature without complaints. Who could ask for more. In fact, my children were actually begging me to take their temperature. You've got to love that!
To find out where you can get one of your own go here.
