Christmas Comes From The Heart - Send a Box filled With Love to A Child In Need

Operation Christmas is a wonderful way to teach children the lesson of "giving is better than receiving."

If you are a parent, Brownie leader, or just someone who want to do something nice for a child in need, go to Samaritan's Purse and find out how to get involved in Operation Christmas.

All it takes is a shoe box and some love. Show a less fortunate child that there is someone out there who cares enough to love them at Christmas.

You can choose a girl, a boy or both.

After filling your box you can bring it to one of the many drop off locations or you can mail it to the address listed below.

Important:
Please donate $7 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs. You can give online by using our EZGIVE option, or you can write a check to Samaritan’s Purse (note “OCC” on memo line) and place it in an envelope on top of the gift items inside your box. If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make one combined donation.

Place a rubber band around each closed shoe box and drop off at the Collection Center nearest you during our collection week November 17 - 24.

For locations and hours of collection visit our Drop-Off Locations page where you can find the nearest place to take your shoe box by entering your ZIP Code or you can call 1-800-353-5949.

Maria - I've been meaning to get a few moments of quiet so I can peek in on your blog. I'm now starting to get used to coincidences - still, it's strange how, now twice since Friday, I've heard of this! I'm going to go check it out. Now - how do you keep so many blogs going (this from a mom who is homeschooling, on top of everything else!). You GO!!! WR, Tristan
