Pre-Order Here

Title: Last Seen in Idaho

Cast: Casper van Dien (Starship TroopersSleepy Hollow), Wes Ramsey ('General Hospital'), Shawn Christian ('Days of our Lives'), Hallie Shepherd

Synopsis: A young woman named Summer witnesses a crime and flees the scene, wrecking her car as she tries to escape. Days later at the hospital, Summer awakens from a coma but has no recollection of the events that put her there.  However, she is having some very strange aftereffects…. when the doctors brought her back from the brink of death, she brought back a little something extra: she’s having visions of her future kidnapping and murder! It’s a race against the clock as Summer tries to figure out who she can trust and who is trying to kill her. The most important question of all is: Can she solve her own murder before it happens and save herself?

The 411:

I really wanted to see this as I have been watching General Hospital for 40 years of my life and Wes Ramsey (Peter August) and my husband is a huge Starship Trooper fan (We have seen it at least 50 times).

Last Seen In Idaho starts out with Casper shooting a man in a parking garage. We don't know why yet but within the first few minutes there are two bodies in a van and two more people shot. Summer witnesses it and for some reason decides to run from a bunch of men with guns instead of laying low. They are onto her and after a car explosion I believe she is another death but NOPE the next scene has her in a hospital having weird visions and flashbacks or are the flashforwards? Dun dun dun.

While Summer tries to piece together what happened her "headaches" make it difficult. Nothing makes sense and she is the only one who appears to notice.  She takes a photo off the fridge and it is a photo of her and WES or Franco in this movie but when she sees it again it is another guy. Hmmm...BUT wait...Franco shows up at the party and now she is really confused.  So many loose ends but Summer is not your run of the mill girl. She is unafraid to confront what she knows is wrong.  The girl is a fighter!

It has all the making for a good movie but the huge cuts from scene to scene doesn't flow. Even the tense scenes aren't tense. There is a scene where Summer and Franco are speaking on a bridge.  She figures some things out and he answers some questions but the acting was sub par.  They are speaking the lines but I am feeling nothing.

Overall the action scenes are good! The camera work is good. The dialogue is even OK. Stronger actors would have made this work.  It is an interesting premise; head injury shows her the future which will help her in the present.

On a positive note Shawn Christian is a great bad guy!

Overall it gets a C from me.
