I work in a daycare/preschool and was able to interview a few of the teachers and aides about this item.


Clary (38 years): I think it is nice but I think kids can still toss over it. It attached really easy to the high chairs and I could see the babies easily which is good because I would want to make sure they are safe. It is low enough that the baby isn't caged in.


Jess (33 years): It is OK but I would never use this. My child shouldn't be caged and if they are throwing things it means they are done eating.  So now it is time to do something else and not just sit in the chair and toss more and more things over.


Jean (30 years): I love it. I hate getting up every time one of the babies tosses something over.  I think parents would love it and it wiped down really easy. Hooking it up around the chair and taking it down was quick and simple. I wish this was around when my kids were babies.


Cailin (26 years): I don't have any kids yet but I think I would probably use this sometimes. Maybe not for every meal but when we are visiting family or have company over and I need to get up and down more often than just sit with the baby. It would keep food and cups or toys on the tree and that also means less mess to worry about when I visit someone. I would hate to dirty someone's carpet. 


Kathy (55 years): I think many parents would like this because it means less for them to worry about. They can eat their meal in peace or watch TV without having to pick things up every two seconds during those terrible throw months.


Maria (me 50): I would have loved this when I sat my son in his high chair with a meal or snack while I nursed my daughter. It was really hard to sit down and nurse, get comfortable, have the baby falling asleep and having to get up every few minutes to pick up his dropped sippy or toys.

Finale Thoughts: What I noticed were the ones who loved it or would have used it were the moms who had more than one child. The moms of only children didn't get it. I remember how hard it was sometimes to put my son in the high chair and try to take care of his nursing, screaming sister and have to jump up because he was screaming that he had tossed everything over. This would have been a Godsend for me.

It could also be attached to a stroller although we didn't do this we think this is a great idea. Because many of us remember being at the park, a mall, or just walking and losing a favorite toy or having a pacifier hit the ground with no place to clean it. 

We also felt it was made well but that the price tag was a little high. Maybe at around $20 more of us would consider it a great gift idea. It is made of mesh and wire (picture a collapsible laundry basket.)
