The 411 by Handsome:

In The Doghouse is about a mom and two kids. Her and her husband are divorcing. Eventually the mom decides to start dating and invites some of her dates over for dinner and to meet the kids. The kids were definitely a better judge of character than mom and noticed these guys were not date material plus they wanted their parents back together.  The best scenes are the kids pranking these horrible dates especially the bathroom one. Mom has a loser boyfriend named Dave from her past who sees her on the news and realizes she is a millionaire.  He and his horrible mom decide he has to get back in touch with her and work his way into her life when he notices dad and mom reminiscing he decides to steal Irving the family dog.

I thought it was terrible acting. Not even the dog was a good actor although he was cute. Even though the movie could have been better I loved that I could watch the movie with my family.

The 411 by Maria:

Wow my son is hardcore with his review. While I agree that the acting wasn't good I enjoyed the cheesiness of it.  It reminded me of the after school movies I used to watch when I was a kid.  The mom inviting her dates back to the family was something we discussed during the movie which is probably why he included that in the review. I was all....what? Why? Does she really need a man that bad that every date needs to meet the kids? I wish there was more of dad. I enjoy the kids working together to make sure their family stays together and loved the actress that played Dave's mom! She was the best part of the movie for me. Hysterical. I also loved that it was a movie I could watch with my kids.
