VENTURES ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION DEAL FOR AWARD-WINNING FILMMAKER KATHLEEN
BEHUN’S PARANORMAL THRILLER 21 DAYS
LOS ANGELES,
CA – November 10, 2016 – Gravitas Ventures today announced it has acquired exclusive
distribution rights in the United States and Canada for award-winning indie filmmaker
Kathleen Behun’s new paranormal thriller, 21
DAYS.The
movie is written, directed and produced by Behun.
In 21 DAYS, which has already won 14
awards on the festival and comic con circuit, three
filmmakers embark on a paranormal challenge by barricading themselves inside a
house so haunted no one has been able to live there for more than 21 days, in order to film the supernatural phenomena
which presumably occur.
A
production of Tortilla Flats Productions, the movie stars Max Hambleton (Bitchin’ Camaro), Whitney Rose Pynn (Aquarius), Mickey River (Unfriended), Eduardo Roman (Jane the Virgin) and Anna Maganini (Red Line). Fernando Barreda Luna and
Jessica Villegas Lattuada serve as co-producers.

negotiated between Galen Christy of High Octane Pictures on behalf of the
filmmaker, and Dan Fisher on behalf of Gravitas Ventures. 21 DAYS is scheduled for release in the spring of 2017.

Supernatural Feature at the Philip K Dick Festival in NYC; Best
Director and Best Actor at the Los Angeles Horror Competition.
The movie also
garnered Best Feature Film and Best Actor at the
Freak Show Horror Film Festival; Best Narrative Feature at the
Los Angeles Film and Script Festival, and Best Picture and Best
Director at the RIP Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Behun is a
native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which has a rich history of fostering
groundbreaking horror filmmakers including George Romero (“Night of the Living
Dead”) and Gregory Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”).
