This is a lovely marble mortar and pestle. It is sold white marble with ridges in the bowl to aid in the mashing of herbs, vitamins, nuts, and more.
I have always wanted one and this is the perfect size. Small enough to be used as decor.
So far I have crushed nuts for oatmeal, vitamins for my little one's OJ and frozen fresh basil from my summer garden.
It is easy to wipe it clean for the next use.
FYI it ships in a box that keeps both pieces separate so they can't chip at each other during shipping.

Those are hard to find. My parents needed one because my mom can't swallow pills so they need to crush them. Thanks for the review.
