The Cold Is Coming - Enter A Tea And Honey #Giveaway
Winter is coming and we all know it in my neck of the woods. It is only October and I had a scarf and winter coat on in the morning. We can usually wait until November to put the heat on but it's been on for three weeks now. Everyone is coughing and I just know it is going to be a COLD winter. Thankfully I am a tea drinker and love my Golden Blossom Honey. It is always in my house and has been since my earliest memory of about 5 years old except it was a glass jar that was always sticky from the spoons going in and out of the jar not like these nice, squeezable honey containers we have now.
Usually I buy a jar a month of Golden Blossom Honey -Genuine Natural Pure Honey it is my go to honey but lately we also get Golden Blossom Organic White Forest Honey there is a distinct difference in the thickness and the taste. We don't like one more than the other though. Both are great!
We were thrilled to receive some of each this past weekend. While my daughter grabbed a spoon asking if she could have some I started thinking of my grandmother's Struffoli and how this may be the year I attempt her recipe. There are so many recipes to try that have yummy honey in it. Like Baklava...mmmmm...and hot chocolate...and more...there is even an All Systems Go Tonic for your digestive tract.
Everyday I have my own little tonic and sometimes if cold, I've been known to make it at like 1:30 PM like I did today. It totally warms me up.
It's delicious almost like a sweet and sour drink that is really good for you.
The Apple Cider Vinegar, Water and Honey recipe is easy and has many health benefits. Like detoxing your system, helping in weight loss, good for your digestion, speeds up your metabolism It's not only good for you but delicious too. It's like a sweet and sour drink and while it may not be your cup of (cough cough) tea (pun intended) it is something that doesn't take long to get used to. I also add cinnamon & lemon. The cinnamon which is good for your colon and the lemon is a natural diuretic which cleanses your liver and kidneys and aids in remove toxins in the lymph glands, colon, and bladder.
I LOVE IT!
Golden Blossom Honey has a gift box of honey and tea for one of my readers so they can experience the benefits of honey.
